The Girls Who Win Mentoring Program is a yearlong initiative implemented by The Richards Group Foundation, focusing on achievement and success of freshman girls. The pilot program at Central High School in Prince George’s County, Maryland will expose freshman girls to successful women who will work hand-in-hand with the girls to grow them into leaders who embrace learning, teamwork, academic leadership and community involvement. This program will directly affect the attitudes and direction of the girls, encouraging high self esteem, self worth, goal setting, physical and mental health as well as future success.
